Hi guys! I can't believe how fast June flew by. SO much has happened and it doesn't even seem real. First I want to give a special shout out to all of the reviewers, bloggers, street team members, readers, and whoever else that helped me with the release of The Last Legacy. I have to admit, it was a bit overwhelming at first. I never expected my weird, zombie idea to manifest in a bestselling novel. It's such a niche genre and I wasn't sure readers would really be into it. Or even if they were, it would only be a few who really liked zombie/post-apocalyptic stories. But a lot of new readers who don't read the genre gave it a try and liked it. I'm floored. One of my favorite reviews (from my street team member Melissa) said this: I will admit, I was apprehensive when I received this book. The plot is quite unlike anything I have ever read before - I have never been heavy into Zombie stories. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised when ... a couple pages in ... I found myself intrigued. I have said it before, but I will say it again, one of the most fun parts about my blog is being open to new genres. I have come across many enjoyable books that, without this blog, I probably would never have considered reading - "The Last Legacy" happens to be among those books. This is one of the many reasons I love writing. I love showing readers a new genre and letting them experience. But it's you all who let me do this. You trust me with your time to show you new worlds, crazy places, and new ideas. And I love it. And appreciate it. And it inspires me to keep writing. I've already gotten over 1,000 likes on facebook. I honestly don't even know what to do about it. I can't believe that two back-to-back releases have generated so much interested and gotten so many of you to like and engage with me on my page. I've had THE BEST time hosting giveaways and chatting with readers! I've made great connections with bloggers, and have been invited all over the worlds for events. It feels like in one month my world has exploded!
OH! I'm going to be working with InkSlinger PR with For The Love of Ash on some blog tours and promos. I'm super excited since InkSlinger represents some of my favorite authors! I'm hoping that it can lead to something more down the road, but who knows. I'm just really honored and thankful that they're willing to help out and accepted FTLOA to promote. :) Let's see... I don't know what else there is to say. Other than The Last Legacy releasing and it being freaking awesome, my facebook growing, and you all being the best supporters, there's not much going on. Finding Sam will release next month and I'm super excited to share that. I'll have review forms/promo/release forms and more coming up soon!
