It all happened so fast. The day the toxin’s dropped and the world ended.
I was in the back lot of the mill, doing the same shit I always did. My family all lived beside each other on a huge plot of land my parents had doled out evenly. It wasn’t a farm, but it could’ve been. My parent’s house was the largest and sat atop the hill. It was the house we all grew up in. I lived behind their house in my own little one story shack. John was about an acre out with Johanna.
We were close. Shit. Closer than I liked to admit.
Review of the Week
Written by Lisa Bee, originally posted on Amazon for A Reliant Love...
Let me start by saying that this is not your typical good girl tames the bad boy book. I spent most of this book with my heart in my stomach. I was taken on such a rollercoaster of emotions that I think Taylor Lavati may owe me a Tshirt.
I found my self yelling at these characters, Nat for being so dang naive and Sam for just being an Idiot. If are looking for dark and gritty this book is for you! Yet I still found myself rooting for them to get their act together.
Lavati writes about adiction in such a real way it isn't pretty and she does not sugar coat it.
I absolutely loved this book and am excited to read the next one.
Taylor has definitely gained a new fan and i will be following her and reading her other books ASAP!!!!!!
