Check out this rockstar review from one of my street team members, Melissa. And when you have a second, check out her pages and give her a like! Website ~Where do you hide when danger is lurking everywhere~ If you are a fan of "The Walking Dead" or "Zombieland", "The Last Legacy" is the book for you. Plot: I will admit, I was apprehensive when I received this book. The plot is quite unlike anything I have ever read before - I have never been heavy into Zombie stories. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised when ... a couple pages in ... I found myself intrigued. I have said it before, but I will say it again, one of the most fun parts about my blog is being open to new genres. I have come across many enjoyable books that, without this blog, I probably would never have considered reading - "The Last Legacy" happens to be among those books. The plot is non-stop action, full of danger at every turn - you never know what is going to happen next. However one thing's for sure, the characters are never safe. In addition, with a side of romance, this book can appeal to a multitude of readers. Characters:
Lavati has included a menagerie of interesting characters in this tale. Some you will love, others you will love to hate. I must admit - more than once during the book, I found myself wanting a certain character to die. However, I believe my favourite character interaction was the bond that was forged between Lana and Marcus in the later chapters. I adored the fact that she took on a motherly role to the lonely child. Furthermore, the character development in "The Last Legacy" is exemplary. The reader witnesses the character changes as a reaction to their increasingly doomed situation. The Nitpicks Other than the odd editing error, I really don't have any nitpicks about this book. As a whole, I found "The Last Legacy" to be fantastic. Overall, I can say that this was a fabulous book that is guaranteed to keep readers attention - I am not just saying that because I am on Taylor's street team. The plot, the characters, and the possibility of more books in this series all work for this book. So, if you enjoy science fiction, with some romance on the side, I suggest you check out "The Last Legacy" on June 15th.
