"Why would you do this?"
"I didn't mean to hurt you, Kevin. I never meant any of this to happen."
"But it did! You did this to us."
"You weren't around. He was."
"Really? So, you're putting this on me?â
âNo. But you canât pretend that you didnât see it coming.â
âYou fucked my brother! I was supposed to expect that?â
âNo! God, I canât do this.â
âFucking speak! Quit sugar coating everything and act like a grown woman. Why. Did. You. Do. This?â
âThereâs not a solid reason.â
âIâd come up with one fast, then.â
âYou were gone so much, Kevin. Grad school was taking over your life. And I was living at your house. Gavin was there all of the time. It just happened. He comforted me, kept the lonliness away.â
âSo you cheated on me because you were lonely?â
âOh, so it doesnât even matter that heâs my brother. You just fucked the closest guy to you, because he was there.â
âThis isnât coming out right.â
âDamn, straight. You sound like a whore.â
âSheâs not a whore!â
âStay out of this, brother.â
âIâm in this just as much as you.â
âWell, you were certainty in my fiancé.â
âQuit being a prick.â
âThen quit speaking for her. She needs to explain why she fucked me over.â
âShe doesnât have to explain anything.â
âAre you kidding me? You wouldnât give a shit if your fiancé was cheating on you. Of course not. Because you're fucking Gavin. You donât give a flying shit about anyone but yourself. And my smart, beautiful fiancé fell for your bullshit. Thatâs the worst part. You're just like all the other girls he plays with.â
âIm not playing with her.â
âReally? You didnât bring her take out, watch movies and snuggle?â
âExactly. He played you, Maggie. And you just screwed up the best thing to ever happen to you.â
âDonât leave me.â
âYou left me when you cheated.â
âLet him go, Mags.â
âGet off me!â
âYou and I both know what we have was real.â
âWhat he just saidâ¦you did that! You did what you do to all the other girls.â
âBut with you it was different.â
âI donât believe you.â
âDonât leave me, too. I wonât survive.â
âI just need time.â

What Readers Have to Say...
"An absolutely heart wrenching read that shows us that at times no matter how much we hope, darkness will find its way to win. "
-Blogger's From Down Under for A Reliant Love
"So this book is the ultimate love story. I like how two ordinary people who is so different and still so alike in so many ways can overcome everything together."
-Angelica Berglund for For The Love of Hockey
"I never thought I would read a "zombie book", much less love one. The Last Legacy really surprised me. Even with the whole people-eating-people thing, it was a fantastic book"
-Melannie S for The Last Legacy
"I could not wait to start book two. If this book was as good as book one, then I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. It wasn't as good as book one...it was better. "
-Keely Retchloff for Finding Sam
"The powers, the love, the excitement, the drama kept me so enthralled. If you are looking for a GREAT series about true love and mythology, look no further... I wish I could rate 10 stars! Definitely recommend this whole series to all my book loving friends!"
-The Book Blog for A Curse Books Trilogy
"For the Love of Ash" by Taylor Lavati was a rare 5-star read for me. I honestly find many typical romances rather dull and predictable. This was not the case at all here; there was nothing average about the romance, overall storyline, and the long list of supporting characters."
-Summer's Book Blog for For The Love of Ash
"Wingless isn't what I would normally pick up and read, but thought I'd try it out and I am so glad I did. The characters and "worlds" she creates are done so well that you can actually picture them and feel like you are there right along with the characters."
-JLH for Wingless
